Ms. Nora Ben

Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu,

My name is Nora, and I was born and raised in the United States. I hold a master's degree in Data Science and possess a formal Arabic education, but much of my life has been dedicated to educating, volunteering, and serving my local masjid community. Having spent my entire life in masajid across North Carolina, I have been blessed to learn from and grow alongside remarkable teachers, mentors, and community members who have shaped both my character and my faith.

In addition to my community involvement, I have worked in political advocacy to support and uplift our Muslim community. I also have a deep appreciation for the rich tradition of Islamic scholarship, particularly classical poetry, and I hope to share that appreciation with others while encouraging a love for seeking beneficial knowledge.

From being a young child running through the masjid and sitting in its classrooms to now having the opportunity to teach in those same classrooms is a blessing I could never have imagined. It is truly an honor to give back to the community that has invested so much in me throughout my life.

I see the knowledge, opportunities, and community Allah has blessed me with as an amanah entrusted to me, and I hope to fulfill that trust by serving my community with sincerity, humility, and compassion. My goal is not only to teach, but to help cultivate a love of Islam, learning, and good character in the next generation, In sha Allah.
