Ms. Huda Hafez

AsSalamu Alaikum,

My name is Huda Hafez, and Alhamdulillah I am excited and honored to be part of this journey with our school community. I was born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and moved to North Carolina with my family when I was 13 years old.

At the age of 14, I began volunteering full-time at a science summer camp, where I spent three years working closely with children. After that, I became an assistant teacher at a Sunday school and later moved into a lead teacher role, where I taught Quran, Islamic Studies, and Noorania for five years. This experience deepened my passion for both education and Islamic learning and sparked my love for teaching, which ultimately led me to pursue it professionally.

I was also actively involved in a youth group in Charlotte, North Carolina, where we organized events and programs for youth in the community. In addition, I helped create and lead a kids club focused on teaching children about the names and attributes of Allah in a meaningful and engaging way.

I earned my degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This upcoming school year will be my second year teaching in the classroom.

As an educator, I strive to create a classroom environment built on kindness, encouragement, structure, and strong Islamic values. My goal is to help students grow academically, strengthen their character, and develop a love for learning and their faith.

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve Allah (SWT), our students, and our families through education. I look forward to meeting all of you and beginning this beautiful journey together!
