Ms. Lubna Soobashah

As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh,

My name is Lubna Soobashah , and I am truly grateful to be part of the Ibn Sina Islamic Academy family. Teaching is more than just my profession—it is my passion. I am committed to growing both as an educator and as a Muslim by continuously seeking knowledge through Islamic studies, lectures, and personal reading, which strengthen my connection with Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala).

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Montessori Instructor Certification, which have provided me with a strong foundation in child development, individualized instruction, and supporting the unique learning needs of every student. These experiences have shaped my belief that every child learns differently and deserves patience, encouragement, and personalized support to succeed.

My teaching journey began in 2001, and Alhamdulillah, I have over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, resource teacher, remedial teacher, and one-on-one tutor. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping students strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, build confidence, and discover their potential. Watching a student experience that exciting "aha!" moment after overcoming a challenge is one of the most rewarding parts of being an educator.

As the Interventionist at Ibn Sina Islamic Academy, I work closely with students through individualized and small-group instruction to reinforce essential academic skills and provide targeted support where it is needed most. I believe every child is capable of growth when given the right guidance, encouragement, and a nurturing environment. I also believe the strongest outcomes are achieved when teachers, students, and families work together as partners.

Alongside my academic teaching experience, I have also had the honor of teaching Islamic Studies, helping students develop not only knowledge of their faith but also strong Islamic character and values. My goal is to support each child in growing academically, socially, and spiritually so they can become confident, compassionate, and successful Muslims, Insha'Allah.

Jazakum Allahu Khayran, and I look forward to this journey together, Inshallah.
