Religious Studies Teacher

Come be a part of the Ibn Sina Islamic Academy team! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher to guide students in Elementary and Middle School in Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree minimum requirement.
Previous teaching experience (preferred) .
Fluency in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking) (preferred).
Strong knowledge of Islamic principles, teachings, and practices (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with young students.
Creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for nurturing and educating young minds.
Dedication to continuous professional development and personal growth.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Establishment of a safe, organized environment that encourages student empowerment.
Management of classroom behaviors with a focus on minimizing disruptions to learning.
Active involvement in Ibn Sina Islamic Academy's processes and procedures to ensure equitable and valuable education for all students.
Collaboration with school staff to foster a professional learning community.
Setting and pursuing goals and strategies through the school improvement plan.
Openness to constructive feedback from administrators.
Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs.
Collaborative mentorship and support for fellow teachers to enhance department or grade-level effectiveness.
Appreciation for each student's unique contributions and fostering positive relationships.
Regular assessment of students using formative and summative evaluation methods.
Proficiency in utilizing technology and instructional media to enhance learning experiences.
Engagement with parents and guardians to promote positive behavioral support and a nurturing educational environment.
Fulfillment of other duties as assigned by the principal.
