Ms. Hajar Tadili
Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Hajar Tadili. I was born in New York and have spent most of my life in Greensboro, North Carolina. Alhamdulillah, I have been part of the Muslim community in Greensboro since childhood and have been connected to the ICT community for as long as I can remember. I am excited and honored to join Ibn Sina Islamic Academy this upcoming school year as a Middle School Science teacher.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2018. Throughout high school and college, I volunteered at Sunday school programs through ICG, helping teach Arabic and Islamic Studies to youth in our community. I also volunteered with both the Saturday school and after-school programs at ICT, which allowed me to further connect with and serve the Muslim community here, alhamdulillah.
My passion for teaching grew after becoming a substitute teacher for Guilford County Schools, where I worked with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Through this experience, I discovered how much I enjoy engaging with students, guiding them through lessons, and creating a positive learning environment each day.
As a science teacher at Ibn Sina Islamic Academy, I look forward to inspiring curiosity and a love for learning in my students. I hope to connect scientific concepts to the beauty of Islam and introduce students to the contributions of Muslim scholars throughout history, inshaAllah.
