Ms. Farah Awan
Assalamu Alaikum,
My name is Farah Awan. I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the United States in 2005.
I hold a Master’s degree in Education from the University of the Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan, and a Master’s degree in English Language and Linguistics from the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in Islamabad, Pakistan. I taught in private schools in Pakistan before moving to the United States.
After relocating, I explored different career paths and completed an Associate Degree in Medical Office Administration from Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC). Over the years, I have worked as an accountant for Church World Service and Allen & James Interiors, and I have also served as an Urdu medical and legal interpreter.
For more than ten years, I have been honored to volunteer with the Islamic Center of the Triad (ICT). I am truly excited to begin this new journey with ICT and Ibn Sina Islamic Academy. My goal is to serve our community for the sake of Allah (SWT) and earn His reward, In Shaa Allah.
Joining Ibn Sina Islamic Academy gives me the opportunity to contribute to the Islamic education of our children and help support the future generations of our community. I pray that Allah makes this effort beneficial and accepts it from all of us, In Shaa Allah.
