Ms. Victoria Young

Assalam Alaikum,

 

I’m excited to join Ibn Sina Islamic Academy and embark on this educational journey! I’m from Greensboro and hold a B.S. in Business Administration from UNC Greensboro, along with a certificate in nonprofit management. I’m currently working on my teaching license through NC State and UNC Chapel Hill. My experience as a lead teacher includes Kindergarten and First Grade. 

Before becoming a lead teacher, I served as a math interventionist, working with third to fifth graders on grade-level content and preparing them for state testing. With each year, my passion for nurturing young minds has only deepened. Islam holds deep importance for me and I strive to model Islamic teachings and values in my classroom. Every child’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to helping them discover their full potential.

 

This upcoming school year fills me with excitement as we will explore, create, and learn together. I value open communication and am committed to working closely with families to meet each student’s needs. I also believe that learning should be fun! When children are engaged, they retain knowledge better. For that reason, my classroom will embrace interactive activities and hands-on experiences that make learning an adventure.

I’m excited to create a nurturing classroom where every student feels valued, encouraged, and ready to shine. I can’t wait for our first day together—here’s to a year full of learning, laughter, and endless possibilities!
