ISIA Security Guard

Ibn Sina Islamic Academy is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to help maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming school environment for students, staff, and visitors. The Security Guard plays a vital role in supporting daily campus safety operations, monitoring school grounds, and assisting with student arrival, dismissal, and school activities.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong situational awareness, professionalism, and the ability to interact respectfully with children and adults. This position works closely with school administration and staff to ensure that school safety procedures and emergency protocols are consistently followed, contributing to a secure and supportive learning environment.

Available Positions:

ISIA Security Guard

Start Date: August 2026 (2026-2027 Academic Year)

Qualifications:

Associate diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in school security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional in all situations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
Ability to follow school policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
Physically able to stand, walk, and monitor campus areas for extended periods.
Commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive school environment.
Certification or training in CPR, First Aid, or school safety preferred

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Maintain a safe and secure school environment for students, staff, and visitors during school hours and school-sponsored events.
Monitor entrances, exits, hallways, playgrounds, and parking areas to ensure campus safety.
Enforce school safety policies, visitor procedures, and access control protocols.
Conduct regular patrols of the campus and report any safety concerns, hazards, or suspicious activity to administration.
Assist with student arrival, dismissal, and transitions throughout the school day.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, incidents, or security concerns in accordance with school procedures
Maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe behavior and promote a sense of safety.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, staff, parents, and visitors.
Assist administration with incident documentation and reporting when necessary.
Support emergency drills and safety preparedness initiatives.
Collaborate with school staff and administration to support a positive and orderly school climate.
Perform additional duties as assigned by school administration.
